Shoal Creek Living History Museum | Hodge Park | Kansas City

Enjoy a step back in time viewing authentic houses from the 19th Century and see Bison up close!

This back and forth weather has been rough! 73* and then the next day snow repeat… Nice days we crave being outside, last week was no different except sometimes we have to adjust.

We started on a trail only to realize that it was too muddy to keep going so we set off to find another activity. That is when we discovered Shoal Creek Living Museum. A little town of authentic 19th century buildings that sets on 80 of the 1000 acres that make up Hodge Park. They have reenactments throughout the year where you can walk through the buildings but just walking the grounds takes you back in time.

We will have to go back to explore the trails and visit the Bison 🦬.
