Valley of Fire State Park is Nevadaβs oldest and largest state park, filled with fiery red sandstone formations, honeycomb-textured rocks, petroglyphs, and trails that feel like another planet.
We drove the scenic route, explored Fire Wave and the White Domes Loop…and yes, the boys made the most of the sand. π
Even at 62 degrees, we felt the sun. This place is no joke…but done right, it is absolutely worth it.

Visit early morning or late afternoon for the best light and cooler temps
